Guest Reviews for Bridgeview Farmhouse B&B in Kilbrittain, Kinsale
“Lovely farmhouse B&B. Excellent Hostess.”
We booked this B&B because it was pet friendly. Marion was very accommodating when we had to change our dates so when we arrived we were delighted with the accommodation. We were greeted by Marion with scones and drinks served outside on a sunny afternoon. The views are stunning overlooking the bay and the garden is lovely with Lily the Lab in residence x . Our two Scotties were delighted to have the freedom of the gardens. We had a choice of rooms both of which had lovely views. Marion was an excellent hostess and extremely helpful with local information. The breakfast is probably the best we have ever had with an amazing choice of things to eat all cooked to order and how you like it. We didn’t need to eat again all day and we also were offered some of Marions lovely homemade scones to take with us. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent with a very good shower over the bath. We would highly recommend staying here and when we are next in Ireland we will make sure we stay with Marion. Thanks for a lovely three days.
Kindest regards
Karen, Mark and the scotties.

“Homemade scones”
What else can I say but the freshly baked scones for breakfast won me over! We had a nice stay at the Bridgeview Farmhouse. Marion made sure that we had everything we needed and made a delicious breakfast. She even wrapped up the couple of scones that we couldn’t finish so we could have them as an afternoon snack. The room we had had a wonderful view of the bridge and countryside, it was clean and had a nice shower with good water pressure.

“Beauty and Hospitality”
You always wonder if the pictures of a property are…accurate. If anything, the pictures of Bridgeview grossly understate just how gorgeous this place is. Our room overlooked the water and the green hills beyond and the view was almost like a painting. Our room was very comfortable, the bed and bathroom were both top class. We slept so well. Marion is a magnificent hostess. She takes what she does very seriously and is absolutely dedicated to making sure that you enjoy yourself. Her breakfasts were the best we had in Ireland (especially the pancakes with fruit!) and her suggestions about places to visit were spot-on. The drive to Kinsale is quick and beautiful; every time we were there, seeing the tiny, loud, and far more expensive hotels and B&Bs we giggled and high-fived ourselves for choosing Bridgeview.

“Great B&B”
Marian is the perfect hostess. She can’t do enough to ensure you have a great stay.We arrived fairly late in the evening and Marian phoned a local bar in Balinspittle to ensure they kept the kitchen open until we arrived. After a good nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast, Marian took time to suggest an itinerary for our day and loaded us with scones and soda bread for our lunch. Bridgeview Farmhouse is an ideal base to explore the southwest corner of Ireland and good value too.

“Probably the best B&B in West Cork!”
If you are after a pleasant relaxing accommodation there is no need to look any further than Bridgeview Farmhouse, Kilbrittain which is between Kinsale and Clonakilty, you will get a true taste of good old Irish hospitality at its best. Marian is absolutely wonderful, if you don’t believe me just read some of the other reviews. The Irish breakfasts are a real treat, all ingredients are locally sourced and very tasty. Make sure you have a camera to take photos of the fantastic views from this location. Hopefully, we will be returning soon.
